The Easter Outreach programme was held on Saturday April 23rd, 2011 at Refuge & Fortress. The objective of the Programme is to put smiles on the faces of these women and children by providing food and clothing in order for them to enjoy the celebration.
The total numbers of families registered is 91 families and 211 children. Majority of these women are married women, widows and single mothers with occupations varying like traders, hairdressers/stylist, tailors, business women, etc. However, 81 families came for the event.
The event was a huge success as many of the families went home with items like rice, seasonings, tin tomatoes, eggs, matches, clothes for women, while children also went home with clothes, Ribena & Biscuit.
